A dinner to entertain the ecumenical guests at the July meeting of the General Synod in York was held on 7 July at Bishopthorpe Palace.

The principal speaker was the Most Revd Kallistos Ware, Metropolitan of Diokleia, the Orthodox Co-Chair of the International Commission for Anglican-Orthodox Theological Dialogue.
